Cedar Grove Overlook Following a switchback trail up through the chaparral along to a forested ridge and a rocky outcrop, brings you to the most magnificent view to the right. You can see up and down the entire Kings Canyon. It is a five mile round trip hike. You can continue past the Cedar Grove Overlook turn-off, and the Hotel Creek Trail will drop down to join the Lewis Creek Trail at the left. It was burned in 1980 and is a good example of old growth forest. It is an eight mile round trip hike. Back to Cedar Grove
