Cedar Grove Sheep Creek Prior to the completion of Highway 180 in 1939, the Don Cecil Trail was the major access to the Cedar Grove area. This historic trail climbs along the relatively cool north-facing slope of the canyon. Sheep Creek is at the end of a moderately strenous hike up the Don Cecil Trail. It is a two-mile round trip jaunt. You'll see views of the Monarch Divide and other sights of this beautiful area that you won't soon forget! Back to Cedar Grove
